Seniors in serious peril

President-elect Donald Trump just announced the “privatization” of Medicare.” This threatens seniors and also their families who will have to pay for the elders’ health care when Medicare is “privatized” and insurance shoots through the roof. If you believe the GOP Congress will provide adequate “support payments” to seniors for buying that insurance, I have a bridge I’d like to sell you. Also it is a lie that Medicare is going broke in a few years. It’s curbed costs by not paying more than  1/4 what providers ask; an insurance company pays full freight. We will have to pay premiums for private insurance that meets an outlay four times what it now is. Trump promised not to cut Medicare or Social Security and not to privatize. Those who voted for him got snookered! Now we seniors are in serious peril.
