Puzzled by PSU Greek-life Response Team
I am a proud alumnus of Penn State (BS, Science, 1987). Today I am puzzled that the Greek-life Response Team does not include any women.
Women should always be included in university-level committees and teams. This is particularly true in light of sexual assault and harassment incidents and the overall culture of sexism in fraternities.
I urge Penn State in the strongest terms to make this team equally composed of men and women. I am certain there are countless qualified women in the PSU community, including Dr. Peggy Lorah, director of the Center for Women Students.
