No look of regret
As I looked at Saturday’s front page, I was shocked by the photo of two young men smugly congratulating each other underneath the headline “Manslaughter, assault charges dismissed in case.” What I would hoped to have seen would be looks of regret and shame that they had been brought to court on charges that they had contributed to the death of a fraternity brother. I don’t think that these young men have learned a thing and I wouldn’t be surprised to find that they are involved in unlawful behaviors throughout their lives.
