Keep ‘Park Forest’ true to its name
As part of the development of the former trailer park on North Atherton, Patton Township is considering selling the green space known as Northbrook Green. Northbrook Green is a 2-acre green space along Park Forest Avenue that you can see as you enter Park Forest Village. If preserved, this green space would provide a buffer between the new development and the residential community. All the mature trees will be removed in the 30-acre parcel that was the trailer park. This makes saving Northbrook Green all the more essential. Park Forest residents, please help keep Park Forest Village true to its name. Please let your opinion be known to the Patton Township Planning Commission or the Patton Township Board of Supervisors.
