Hahn is invested in the community
I would like to share my enthusiastic support of Don Hahn for mayor.
Hahn is a State College native and Penn State alumnus who has watched the community grow and develop. He has been actively involved in local politics for decades, serving two terms on Borough Council, including a term as council president. He has been an active participant in the Centre Region Council of Governments, serving on the finance and public safety committees, and has been a member of various local agencies including the borough Redevelopment Authority, the borough Planning Commission and the Community Land Trust, to name a few. He also has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Municipal League. In other words, for decades, Hahn has demonstrated his commitment to our community.
As a local homeowner, husband, father and practicing attorney, Hahn has a life-long personal investment in the well being of his community. He supports sustainable neighborhoods, diversity and inclusion, protecting the environment and working with Harrisburg to promote the fiscal health of our town. He has the practical background and experience to direct the internal and external policies of State College, promote fiscal responsibility and work constructively with Harrisburg.
You may recall that I ran against Hahn in the Democratic primary. However, of all the candidates now running for mayor, I believe there is none more qualified than Hahn to replace Elizabeth Goreham, and I look forward to continuing to serve on Borough Council with him as our new mayor.
