Keep guns locked up, unloaded
Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.
The recent murder in Pleasant Gap illustrates how the presence of a gun can lead to tragedy. The murder suspect got mad, retrieved a gun from the bedroom and shot his uncle because his uncle made him mad. If no gun had been available the murder suspect would probably not be a murder suspect. There is no way to change the reality that many households have guns but let those who do have a gun in the household understand that an available gun becomes a emotional weapon of choice if tempers flare. Keep it locked up, unloaded and hide the ammo if you love your loved ones.
