‘Grass and guns don’t mix;’ really?

Seems to me that the federal government isn’t familiar with addiction or marijuana. This new law re: “Marijuana or Guns” is ludicrous! An “Alcohol or Guns” law makes a lot more sense since many people tend to get violent and/or aggressive under the influence of booze ... not pot. Anyone think of that one? Read the newspaper!

Not an advocate of guns but this is ridiculous and irresponsible. People with medical marijuana need it for medicinal reasons. I’d venture to guess that several people making these laws do in fact drink alcohol, probably to get drunk.

How come alcoholics are allowed to have their cake and eat it too, while I suspect most marijuana smokers don’t even own guns.
