Amendment for women’s rights needs revisited
We have finally reached the point when the equal rights for women amendment to the U.S. Constitution must immediately be revisited, be passed by Congress and ratified by the states.
Rather than complicating it with a lot of gibberish, that amendment should simply state, “Women have the right to impartial and equal treatment in all segments of and related to all aspects of society.”
Now, do our representatives in the U.S. House and Senate agree? Will they take action to initiate that amendment and the protections associated with it? Or, do they have the guts to publicly state their reasons for opposing equal treatment and protections of women being specifically included in our Constitution?
