Players tried their best

With all the criticism leveled at the Penn State football team recently, I wanted to say thank you, and good luck in the future.

These young men played their hearts out, never quit, and gave it their all, every game. Many times it seemed as if they were a bit lost, or bewildered, but they tried their best.

If folks are going to criticize, lay it on the staff … not the players.
