Combat hate with knowledge
I think the Penns Valley school assignment to create a video about Muhammad and the Islamic religion is terrific.
Right now we are fighting ISIS, an enemy that misuses religion to commit horrendous crimes. The only way to prevent the spread of hate promoted by people like Donald Trump and Ted Cruz is for Americans to learn as much as possible about religions different from their own.
