Still, no one cares?
I find it sad but interesting that I had more feedback and complaints about my opinions on the Second Amendment than I ever had about all the letters I submitted complaining about the vast problems with the Miles Township Veterans Monument.
To this day the monument is still not correct. The repairs were poor, inasmuch as you can read through the efforts to cover the names that were placed wrong. And they never have said exactly how much of the money was used on another project? No one has been held accountable? They still have never requested source data. They have people listed who are not legally classified as veterans on the monument?
But still, no one cares? Not the local VFWs or the American Legion chapters? Not even the local veterans or even the families of veterans who had errors?
It is a very sick and sad day when people from a rural community will speak up about their gun rights but not about a veterans monument that is incorrect? They refuse to make people accountable for their mistakes and I ask why? When a discussion about the Second Amendment causes more feedback then problems on a veterans monument, something is very, very wrong with our society!
