With the funding issues for Penn State, I believe the president needs to cut all sports programs for the university and fire all of the affiliates of each sports program.
I’m appalled by the wasteful spending on the sports program the university encourages; the agricultural programs are very important to students’ studies in agriculture if they wish to pursue a career in agriculture or want to join the EPA.
The spending on sports programs is nothing but wasteful and only puts academia second when it should be the university’s top priority until the state budget issue is resolved between Gov. Tom Wolf and the Republicans.
