I hope the people of this country are as sick of politicians as I am. The more I see of them, the more I am reminded of spoiled children. You know the ones I mean: “If you don’t do it my way, I’ll take my ball and go home.”
I don’t point a finger at any party; they are both the same, self-serving egotistical spoiled brats whose only concern is to get their own way. They don’t care about the country or the people that elected them. They only want to further their own interests and get elected again.
Neither party cares about anything other than to throw stones at the other party. The issues or what is good for the country, they don’t care, and we keep right on electing them. Some of us vote the party, some vote emotions, some race or sex, and some for what they think the government will give them.
If there is ever a time to, as John F. Kennedy said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country,” the time is now.
