About a year ago there was an attempted robbery in Harrisburg where a gunman accosted several legislators on a city street. One of the legislators was armed and had a concealed carry permit. During the incident, several shots were exchanged and the robber fled. I don’t believe anyone was injured and don’t recall if any arrests were made.
What I do remember is that one of our local papers had an interview with state Rep. Mike Hanna relevant to the incident. I seem to recall that he related he was dismayed or concerned to learn that a member of his caucus had been armed. As a constituent it is good to see he has now “flip flopped” and has recently sponsored a concealed carry seminar.
