Independent voters (aka nonpartisan voters) of Centre County are encouraged to vote in the April 26 primary election on two major Pennsylvania constitutional amendments.
The first: for justices of the Supreme Court, judges and justices of the peace (aka district judges) to be retired on the last day of the year when they attain age 75 instead of the current age of 70. The second: to abolish the Philadelphia Traffic Court.
Thanks to Angela Sommers on the April 4 editorial page for pointing out that you can find voting places by going to www.centrecountypa.gov.
