This month’s Blue-White football game was a sun- and fun-filled day.
Particularly gratifying was to notice the many young families in attendance, perhaps returning alumni with their children, future Nittany Lions. It was an opportunity for them to remember and to share the excitement and memories of their experiences at Penn State.
There is talk of the cost of this event, perhaps even a hint of an admission charge in the future. I hope not. The cost of regular season tickets is prohibitively expensive for a family outing.
Blue-White allows us preserve this most important tradition of encouraging and welcoming all Penn Staters — past, present and future — to remember that this is still home and to come back often.
