The president’s statement, “Attacks on police are an attack on all of us” is certainly correct. But I think much more needs to be said.
For attacks on Hispanics are attacks on all of us. Attacks on the LGBTQ community are attacks on all of us. Attacks on black males, females and youth are attacks on all of us.
If we are truly the United States of America, then an attack on one person in this country is an attack on all of us. And the sooner all of us realize this, then the sooner we may be able to stop these deadly attacks.
