It seems I was one of many to just write off Jerry Sandusky as a pedophile without a second thought.
Yet he is still there proclaiming his innocence, with his wife still standing beside him. To me that speaks volumes and warrants a second look. If you do some reading, you will find that you can make a very good case for his innocence. My question is why is he not being given the benefit of the doubt?
Why did we let the media crush him, Joe Paterno and a fine institution without even a fight? A man who raised six kids who weren’t even his own and gave his life to youth is a far better story than the one the media wrote.
Why are we afraid to consider his innocence?
