Bellefonte boys’ soccer beats Philipsburg

The Bellefonte boys’ soccer team out-shot Philipsburg 15-2 en route to a 3-1 win on Tuesday night.

Alex Horner had a goal in the 50th minute to rectify a slow first half for the Red Raiders. Wilson Miller followed with a goal of his own in the 57th minute. Philipsburg’s Matthew Farrell tried to rally his team with a goal in the 71st minute, but Marco Mazzi knocked in another for Bellefonte with an assist from Noah Gaus.

The Red Raiders improved to 10-4-1 with the win. They play at Tyrone next Thursday at 4 p.m.
