State College blanked by Mercersberg Academy

State College girls’ tennis lost to Mercersberg Academy on Tuesday afternoon 7-0.

One doubles set in the 6-0, 6-4 decision was competitive, but State College was completely shut out in five of the 14 total sets, including one full individual match.

The Little Lions (11-4) will face off against Altoona next Monday at 4 p.m. in the first round of the Division 6 District tournament.
