LEMONT Trailing by three runs after two innings, Spring Mills had to rally — and it did with a 4-3 win in 11 innings over Lemont.
The Braves picked up a two-run double from Kevin Sweeley in the fourth inning to get within one. They then tied the game in the seventh inning when Colton Treaster drove in Micah Schrenkle with a double.
Cody Luse, who was the winning pitcher, threw all of the innings for Spring Mills and drove in the winning run.
The Ducks started off well thanks to Kieran Kempton two-run double in the first inning and then Matt Hutchinson had a sacrifice fly in the second inning to score the final run of the game.
