Carl leads Beech Creek past Bellefonte
BEECH CREEK Toner Carl set the tone on the mound and at the plate — and did just enough to help Beech Creek win 1-0 over Bellefonte Tuesday in a Central Penn League game.
As the pitcher, Carl allowed one hit in the shutout. At the plate, he had two singles and drove in his team’s only run.
Bellefonte’s Adam Armstrong also pitched well in the loss and allowed just four hits.
