Penn State swim team member Hector Garcia Boissier 13th at world diving championships

Penn State junior Hector Garcia Boissier, competing with his brother Nicolas, just missed out making the finals in the 3-meter springboard synchronized diving competition Saturday at the FINA World Aquatics Championships.

The pair, competing for their native Spain, totaled 372.30 points to finish 13th. The top 12 advance to the finals, with the brothers missing out by 2.10 points.

Another Nittany Lion, Shane Ryan, who graduated earlier this year, is slated to compete for Ireland in three events from July 24-30.
