A pair of Nittany Lions took part in breaking an American paralympic record on Saturday in New Brunswick, N.J.

Penn State senior Sean Brame and 2016 Penn State graduate Nick Adcock made up half of the four-man team in the 200-yard medley relay to set the mark. The event was an exhibition paralympic race during the ECAC Championships at Rutgers.

The duo was joined by Stephen Machak and Daniel Gelrand on the team to turn in a time of 2 minutes, 30.21 seconds. Brame anchored the race swimming the freestyle leg, while Adcock had the butterfly leg.

Brame also was second in the 100 freestyle in 1:27.83.
