A central PA team is advancing in the Little League World Series. What’s next and how to watch

Representing central Pennsylvania in the Little League World Series, Hollidaysburg continued to advance in the tournament Tuesday with a 10-0, 4-inning mercy rule victory over Hagerstown, Indiana.

Chase Link hit a home run over the left-center field fence for a solo home run in the first inning. Tyler McGough went on to drive in three runs and Beau Rabel had two runs batted in for the victory. On the mound for Hollidaysburg was Braden Hatch, who pitched four scoreless innings, allowing three hits, one walk and striking out seven batters.

Hollidaysburg reached the elimination bracket final by defeating New England (Middleborough, Massachusetts) 7-5 on Sunday and following up with a 7-1 victory over the Metro Region (Massapequa, New York) on Monday.

What’s next?

Hollidaysburg is set to play Pearland, Texas on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Williamsport’s Lamade Stadium. Pearland took down Davenport, Iowa 4-0 in Round 3 of the elimination bracket. The winner of Round 3 will take on Nolensville, Tennessee or Honolulu, Hawaii in the United States Championship on Thursday.

The game will be televised on ESPN.
