Shikellamy snaps losing streak
SUNBURY - Shikellamy lost just two games in doubles to snap a nine-match losing streak in Tuesday's 3-2 win against Central Mountain in a Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I match.
The No. 2 doubles tandem of Gavin Marzyck and Ethan Rorke was perfect in a 6-0, 6-0 win over Gage Brown and Cooper Litz. Patrick Sprenkle and Kinsley Erb took a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 1 doubles.
Ryley McDonald was the Braves' lone winner in singles play, defeating Brayden Speeding, 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
Shikellamy (2-11 overall, 2-6 HAC-I) hadn't won since March 25 against Milton.
