Berks roundup: Softball, girls lacrosse results for April 15

In a battle of BCIAA division leaders, Wilson banged out 14 hits in an 11-4 softball victory over Fleetwood on Wednesday.

For the Bulldogs (11-1, 7-0 Division 1), Kaya Werley hit two home runs and drove in three runs, and Maddy Snyder hit three doubles and had three RBIs.

Shannon Bratton went the distance in the circle, striking out five, while giving up 10 hits and four earned runs.

For the Tigers (8-1, 5-1 Division 2), Katelyn Yapsuga had two RBIs.

Hamburg 11, Antietam 1, four innings: Brianna Mengel home run, 2 RBIs, Molly Krick struck out five in two innings, Madison Wessner struck out four in two innings. Hamburg is 10-2, 6-0 Division 3; Antietam is 1-9, 0-7 Division 4.

Exeter 11, Conrad Weiser 4: Five different players each knocked in two runs as Exeter scored an 11-4 win over Conrad Weiser. Marion Eagle, Jadee Ruiz-Ravelo, Jillian Warner, Alena Dinnini and Ryen Turner each had two RBIs and two hits, except Ruiz-Ravelo who had three hits for the Eagles (7-5, 4-2 Division 1). For the Scouts (2-8, 1-5), Payton Kramlich had two RBIs.

Daniel Boone 2, Reading High 0: Freshman pitcher Brooke Washleski struck out six and allowed six hits in blanking Reading High 2-0. The Blazers are 3-7, 2-4 Division 2; Reading High is 4-8, 0-7 Division 1.

Twin Valley 11, Governor Mifflin 1, five innings: Ella Herbst and Emma Hahn each had two RBIs. Twin Valley is 9-2, 6-1 Division 2; Mifflin is 2-9, 2-5 Division 1.

Schuylkill Haven 8, Oley Valley 2: Winning pitcher Allison Scherer went the distance, striking out 12 Schuylkill Haven beat Oley 8-2 in a non-league game. Oley is 2-9.

Girls lacrosse

Mackenzie Maggs scored five goals as Wyomissing defeated Penn Manor 13-4 in a non-league match on Wednesday. Also for the Spartans, Kacey Maggs had three goals and two assists.
