Rain moves D-4 tennis quarters to Friday

Thursday's District 4 Class 2A team tennis quarterfinals were moved to Friday, except for No. 1-seed Jersey Shore's 3-0 win over No. 8-seed Selinsgrove.

seed Danville will host Loyalosck; No. 3-seed Central Columbia hosts Montoursville and No. 4-seed Lewisburg will host Wellsboro. All three matches started on Thursday, but afternoon showers forced them to be moved to Friday.

In the only completed match, the Bulldogs won both doubles matches, and at No. 3 singles. Jersey Shore (16-0) awaits the winner over Lewisburg and Wellsboro in Monday's semifinals.
