Shamokin knocks off Milton
MILTON - Libby Nye and Kealy Harmon each knocked in three runs, and Ava Hughes pitched four scoreless innings in Shamokin's 13-2 win over Milton in Heartland Athletic Conference-Division II softball action on Thursday.
Harmon had RBI singles in the third and fourth innings for the Indians (5-10 overall, 4-6 HAC-II), while Nye had a two-run single in the fourth.
Carrie King had an RBI triple in the fifth for Milton (3-11, 0-10).
