On Campus: Two Conneaut grads play in Small College World Series

On Campus is a weekly series that keeps up with area athletes playing collegiately.

Softball

Brooke Wise (Conneaut 2023) helped Salem win the Small College World Series last week. In the playoff run Wise put up four runs, four doubles and two RBIs. Wise was also named to the All-Tournament team.

Linda Shepard (Conneaut 2023) played in three games during Penn State New Kensington's run in the Small College World Series last week. At the plate she recorded two doubles, a run and an RBI. On the mound she had two strikeouts in 10.2 innings. She was named to the All-Tournament team.

Baseball

Hank Shaffer (Saegertown 2023) played in Penn State Behrend's NCAA Regional loss to Lynchburg last week.
