Caitlin Clark Could Make WNBA History Against Valkyries Friday Night
The Indiana Fever are back in action Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse against the Golden State Valkyries, who will be playing on the second night of a back-to-back.
After missing Wednesday's game against the Portland Fire, superstar Caitlin Clark is also expected to return to the floor after being listed as probable on Thursday's injury report.
If Clark does play, she could be on the verge of making WNBA history, according to ESPN Insights.
Clark is aiming for her third consecutive game with at least 20 points and 10 assists. If she reaches both marks again Friday night, she would become just the second player in WNBA history - joining Courtney Vandersloot - to record three straight games with 20-plus points and 10-plus assists.

Clark is currently dealing with back soreness, but despite that - and several in-game adjustments throughout the early part of the season - she has continued to play at an extremely high level.
Through four games, Clark is averaging 24.3 points, 9.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game.
Indiana enters Friday night with a 3-2 record, and after the matchup against Golden State, the Fever will begin nearly a week-long break in the schedule before returning to action next Thursday in a road rematch against the Valkyries in San Francisco.
