Houston's Kingston Flemings Poised to Steal the Show at the NBA Draft

The 2026 NBA draft is upon us, and it’s that exciting time of the year when we’re moments away from finding out where our favorite college players will land in the pros.

Houston‘s Kingston Flemings has been one of the most talked-about players in the draft, and for good reason. He’s a simple, solid grinder on the court and can provide a stable presence to any NBA lineup.

In a piece for Bleacher Report after the week-long NBA Combine, Jonathan Wasserman names the winners and losers of the event. “Every year, the NBA Draft Combine gives prospects a chance to change their draft stock in front of dozens of front offices - through measurements, athletic testing, scrimmages and closed-door interviews,” he states.

One of his biggest winners of the event, he says, is Flemings.

“Flemings made up for some average measurements on Monday with one of the best all-around showings during athletic testing and shooting drills,” he states of the budding star. “He surprised by leading the NBA combine in the three-point star drill (overtaking Alex Karaban) by making 19-of-25 shots. He also hit 15-of-25 spot-ups threes, a reassuring number.”

Flemings had a solid performance at the Combine and finished the event ranked in the top five in the pro lane agility test, max vertical, shuttle run and sprint time. After his Combine showing, expect him to go at No. 6 to the Nets or No. 7 to the Kings. It’s hard to see him falling any further than that after this stellar performance.
