Spurs' Dylan Harper a Game-Time Decision for Game 3: Report
San Antonio Spurs rookie guard Dylan Harper left the court during the third quarter of Game 2, going back into the locker rook at Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center.
Harper was unable to return to the game as the Spurs suffered a 122-113 loss, evening the Western Conference Finals series at one game apiece.
Harper was initially believed to have suffered a hamstring injury. But on Thursday, the 20-year-old rookie appeared on the Spurs’ injury report as questionable to play in Game 3 with right adductor soreness.
Harper will be a game-time decision on Friday night, according to ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania.
“San Antonio’s Dylan Harper will be a game-time decision tonight in Game 3 against the Oklahoma City Thunder after MRI showed an adductor injury, not a hamstring, sources tell ESPN. Harper is expected to go through his pregame routine to make a decision on his status,” Charania reported.

Harper has been excellent for the Spurs in the postseason. In San Antonio’s thrilling double-overtime Game 1 victory, the No. 2 overall pick recorded 24 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and seven steals through 47 minutes of action.
Veteran guard De’Aaron Fox is also listed as questionable for Game 3 as he deals with the same high-ankle sprain that held him off the court in Game 1 and Game 2. He will also be a game-time decision on Friday night.
