Stephon Castle Guarantees Spurs Win For Game 4 Of NBA Finals

San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle isn't afraid of the New York Knicks, that's for sure.

Victor Wembanyama made headlines with his 32-point performance, but it was Castle who sealed the win with a clutch pair of free throws in the final seconds of Game 3. He finished Monday's game with 23 points, five rebounds and five assists.

"We made some strides in terms of the ball movement and playing with our teammates, setting screens, trusting the basketball would find the right guy for our shot," Spurs coach Mitch Johnson said, via ESPN.

"We showed better poise at times. We finished the game still with some things that need improvement, but stronger than we did the last few games. We were in attack mode, but also as a collective group, it showed itself in terms of something would happen, whether it was an initial action or a guy trying to get to the paint."

With the NBA Finals set to resume this Wednesday night, Castle spoke to ESPN's Malika Andrews about his expectations for a pivotal Game 4.

Not only has Castle guaranteed a Game 4 win for San Antonio, he said he expects to win four in a row.

"I expect us to win the next three," Castle told Andrews.

NBA fans react to Castle's guarantee.

Judging by the responses on social media, Knicks fans expect these comments from Castle to age poorly.

"I respect the confidence but there is no way you win 4 straight games and 3 on the road in the garden.... absolutely no way," one fan replied.

"You only won cause of refs bro and an off night from our whole team next time don't lose both at home you are going back home down 3-1 buddy," a second fan commented.

"I don't think a single one of these interviews w malika has aged well," a third fan pointed out.

"He's writing checks Dylan Harper has to cash out," another fan said.

It'll be interesting to see how the crowd at Madison Square Garden greets Castle this Wednesday.

Tipoff for Game 4 is at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
