Queen Camilla and her sister step out at Wimbledon 2026
It's a family affair for Queen Camilla at Wimbledon.
The queen, 78, brought her younger sister Annabel Elliott, 77, to day 10 of the tennis championships on Wednesday, July 8, as Britain battled another intense heatwave, with temperatures expecting to climb to 91°F in London.
The queen donned a turquoise chiffon dress for the event and was photographed holding a cream hat.
The siblings are expected to watch Arthur Fery, the last British player remaining in the Wimbledon singles, take on Italy's Flavio Cobolli on Centre Court later today. It appears that 23-year-old Fery, who is carrying Britain's hopes, will have to play with much of the country and also the queen watching. No pressure.
The queen's sister is an interior designer who has worked on numerous properties making up King Charles' sprawling royal estate, including 12 cottages he owns on the Isles of Scilly. She is often seen with Camilla at royal events and the pair are believed to share a close bond.
Earlier on Wednesday, the queen met former British No. 1 Heather Watson, who won 10 titles over her career, a statement from Buckingham Palace said Wednesday. Watson won the mixed doubles at Wimbledon in 2016.
Camilla appeared in good spirits despite the recent royal drama surrounding Prince Harry and his visit to the United Kingdom.
The estranged prince landed in London Monday, only to be told he could no longer stay at Buckingham Palace because he had missed the deadline to respond to the official accommodation offer. On Tuesday, he lost his privacy lawsuit against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mail.
It is unclear if Harry will meet face to face with his father, Charles, or estranged brother Prince William.
Tennis fans are often treated to an appearance from members of the royal family.
Last week, Princess Kate stunned hopefuls lining up to see if they could get a last minute seat for the games by hanging out tickets before hugging and posing for photos.
The future queen, who is also an avid tennis fan, opted for a double-breasted bright blue suit and styled her hair into a chic ponytail for the event.
