Indiana Fever Announce Aliyah Boston Injury Update Before LA Sparks Game

Aliyah Boston is having a career-best season when it comes to scoring with the Indiana Fever, averaging 17.1 points on an efficient 50.4% shooting. In particular, she has improved her long-range shooting, as she's attempting 2.7 triples per game and making an average of 1.2.

Alongside her scoring, Boston is putting up 8.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.3 blocks. With her dominant two-way play, she has been voted an All-Star starter.

For a Fever roster lacking depth in the frontcourt, Boston's presence is certainly important to the team.

However, Boston recently landed on Indiana's injury report, putting her availability in question.

Is Aliyah Boston Playing Today for Fever vs. Sparks?

Ahead of Indiana's showdown with the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday, Boston was listed on the injury report alongside star guard Caitlin Clark. The 24-year-old forward is currently dealing with a lower right leg injury, which has her listed as "Questionable" for the game.

Clark has been on the injury report for weeks now due to her back injury. She even missed the Fever's last two games. With that said, it was not a surprise to see her listed there again.

Boston is a different matter, though. After all, the last time she missed a game for the Fever was on May 17 against the Seattle Storm. In the Fever's most recent showdown against the Las Vegas Aces, she even dropped 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.

A "Questionable" status usually means a player has a 50/50 chance of playing in a game.

The good news for the Fever is that Boston participated in the team's practice that was open to the media on Tuesday, according to Chloe Peterson of the Indianapolis Star.
