Bald Eagle Area softball beat Central 7-5 on Friday night to clinch a share of the Mountain League title alongside Philipsburg-Oceola.
The Eagles (14-4) benefitted from strong pitching out of Sydney Shultz, who earned the win.
“We brought Sydney in in the fifth and she pitched a great game, came in and shut the door,” said head coach Curtis Heverly. “It was a great team effort on the offensive side from a number of girls, we're really happy to have the win.”
