Bellefonte earns pair of wins

Bellefonte’s Tara Baney earned a pair of wins in the circle this week.

She pitched a no-hitter in a 7-0 win over Tyrone on Monday. Baney struck out 17 and walked one in the dominant outing.

Baney then allowed one run and one hit in four innings in a 12-1 win over Clearfield on Tuesday.

Alexis Wetzler, Rachael Bernier and Samantha Gates each had two hits. Wetzler scored four runs and Gates had three RBIs.
