Koleno fires no-hitter in Clarence Mounties’ rout of Pleasant Gap

Justin Koleno threw a no-hitter to help the Clarence Mounties roll to a 13-0 win over Pleasant Gap in five innings in Centre County Baseball League play Tuesday.

Koleno faced 17 batters and struck out four in the victory.

Clarence broke the game open with a six-run third inning.

Justin Taylor finished with three hits and five RBIs to pace the Mounties offensively. Taylor had two-run double and three-run home run.

Koleno and Chuck Probst each had two hits.

Clarence (3-0) takes on Lemont on the road Thursday, while Pleasant Gap (2-3) will travel to Spring Mills.
