Pleasant Gap edges Howard in extra innings
Wyatt Belinda’s broken-bat RBI single in to right field in the eighth inning brought in the winning run for Pleasant Gap in a 3-2 victory over Howard.
Belinda also doubled in the sixth inning to tie the game. Teammate Tyler Lalli added a double.
Evan Gettig and Luke Gardner led the Howard Hawks with a double each.
Tyler James worked 3 1/3 innings for the win.
Pleasant Gap will host the Spike Island Pirates on Thursday. The Howard Hawks visit the Clarence Mounties on Sunday.
