CLARENCE

The Clarence Coyotes picked up the first win in team history, and did it in dramatic fashion, beating the Lemont Ducks 9-8 Thursday night in Centre County Baseball League action.

The Coyotes (1-4) were added to the league this season.

Jordan Kobularchik’s two-out, walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning won it, scoring Dillon Schall, who had earlier doubled.

The Ducks (0-7) had built an early 5-0 lead, highlighted by an RBI double from Matt Hutchison, who had three hits. Calvin Sichler paced the offense with a 4 for 4 game, including three doubles.
