Peppers rally past Braves in County League baseball

A four-run sixth inning gave Pleasant Gap the lead for good in a 6-3 victory against Spring Mills on Tuesday at Governor’s Park.

The Braves took the lead with two runs in the top of the sixth, thanks to an RBI double from Allen Cain and an RBI fielder’s choice.

The Peppers then loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the inning before Tyler Lalli’s RBI single tied the game, a walk to Wyatt Belinda put Pleasant Gap back in front and two more runs added some insurance.

Doylan Dietrich earned the win, Rich Auman took the loss and Spring Mills also got doubles from Cody Luse and Jordan Brennan.
