Clarence Coyotes beat Howard in County League

After a slow start to the season, the Clarence Coyotes won their second straight game, dropping the Howard Hawks 3-2 Thursday.

Tyler Bennett’s bases-loaded sacrifice fly brought home one run, and an error allowed a second run to score in the first inning for the Coyotes. They added their other run on Zach Sayers’ groundout with the bases loaded in the fourth.

Andy Stover struck out four and allowed four hits in the complete-game win for the Coyotes (3-14).

Brian Pelka surrendered six hits with four strikeouts in the complete-game loss for the Hawks (9-7).
