Clarence Mounties roll over Lemont Ducks in County League Baseball

The Clarence Mounties improved to a Centre County Baseball League-leading 14-1 on the season with a 12-2 victory over the Lemont Ducks on Thursday at Spring Creek Park.

The Mounties managed only six hits but took advantage of seven walks from Duck pitchers and four defensive errors. Bryce Greene paced the offense with a 2 for 3 day at the plate.

Justin Koleno struck out five and allowed five hits for the win.

Tyler Yazujian was 2 for 2 with a triple, knocking in both runs for the Ducks.

The Mounties face the Clarence Coyotes and Lemont visits Spring Mills on Sunday as everyone heads into the final week of the regular season.
