Spring Mills tops Lemont in County League action

The Spring Mills Braves edged the Lemont Ducks 4-3 in Centre County Baseball League play Sunday.

Corby Woodring and Micah Shrenkle each had two hits to account for the Braves’ four hits in the game. Cody Luse pitched 5 1/3 innings for Spring Mills before Tyler Myers entered in relief to earn the win.

Clint Hicks paced Lemont with three hits.

Spring Mills (8-9) hosts the Clarence Mounties on Thursday.
