Bellefonte edges Mount Union in 15-16 Area 5 VFW Teener Tournament

Propelled by Caleb Lucas’ game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning, Bellefonte defeated Mount Union 4-3 on Sunday in the 15 and 16-year-old Area 5 VFW Teener League All-Star Tournament.

Along with Lucas’ critical single, Dan Catchmark led Bellefonte at the plate with two singles on Sunday.

On the hill, Adam Armstrong earned the win for Bellefonte.

Bellefonte is 4-0 in the tournament and face State College on Tuesday.
