Haley earns NYPL All-Star honors

Jim Haley, a former third baseman for Penn State, was selected to this year’s New York-Penn League All-Star game as a member of the North team.

Haley finished his final season with Penn State baseball in 2016 as a three-year starter with a .297 average, before getting selected in this year’s MLB draft by the Tampa Bay Rays. He currently plays for the affiliate Hudson Valley Renegades and is batting .297 with 13 RBIs, three doubles, a triple and eight stolen bases in 47 games.

The game will be played on Tuesday at 6:35 p.m. at Dutchess Stadium in New York.
