Penn State field hockey tops Albany

Shay Cannon scored two goals to lead No. 18 Penn State to a 3-1 win over No. 9 Albany on Sunday.

Cannon scored the team’s first two goals in the first nine minutes of the game. Katie Dembrowski added a goal in the second half to push the Nittany Lions ahead 3-1.

Molly Mariano had Albany’s lone goal.

The Nittany Lions (4-0) host Lock Haven at noon Sunday.
