Foley appointed associated athletic director

Joe Foley was appointed as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Advancement at Penn State on Thursday.

The former track and field athlete at Northeastern, who had been Deputy Director for Development at Maryland for the last two years, will be involved in fundraising and student-athlete alumni relations. He will oversee major gifts and the Nittany Lion Club, and starts his new position Oct. 3.
