Ryan named Big Ten Swimmer of Week

Penn State’s Shane Ryan picked up Big Ten Men’s Swimmer of the Week honors on Wednesday.

Ryan won the 100 freestyle (43.09), 50 freestyle (20.09) and 100 backstroke (47.19) in a meet with Michigan and Virginia last week.

It is his third weekly conference honor this season.
